Constitution Week in school refers to an annual educational observation around
September 17, Constitution Day, to honor the signing of the U.S. Constitution.

Purpose of Constitution Week

Educate students:

Promote civic engagement:
To encourage students to participate in the democratic process and understand their role in American society.

Fulfill federal requirements:
To meet the legal obligation for schools receiving federal funding to hold an educational program on the U.S. Constitution.
